imdb rated it 4 out of 5 stars , and then there is 78% rotten tomatoes.. i really don't get it.. O_O 

Hear it from me guys and girls..  i'll give it a 4.5/5  at least...and 78% popcorn not rotten tomatoes..how can a movie having over 4 ratings get 78% rotten tomatoes?? These people needs to change the 78% rotten tomatoes tag.. ..Change it to 78% popcorn.. Gosh .!  Anyways...

This is an exceptional animated movie. I seldom say this but i am a girl who loves "ambition" . This film revolves around the journey of inspiration of a "not so " scary looking monster to become the scariest of monsters and to create "screams" which drives power generation for the monster world.

He travels to Monster's University to become the scariest of all. However his hopes crash down when he and another monster ( who is apparently very scary looking but zero brain power) gets thrown out of the program. He was sad, but he didnt give up on his ambition. This little monster also shows immense brain power even though he isn't scary looking. He then signs up for a scare game going on in the campus and challenges the university mistress that if they win the game , she will have to take them back into the program. He trains and fights with a very incompetent team. Ultimately they do win , he uses his brains and his buddy (the scary looking one) uses his scary looks and techniques to generate immense amount of scream production. So much that the scream bottles break. They are accepted back into the monster world. Though they didnt become the scariest of monsters , one lacked brains and the other lacked scary looks, yet they became famous and sort of like icons in the monster world :-P .. they were happy doing mail room or lunch room jobs.. but they proved themselves.. and generated that amount of scream that noone ever could ...

There is a lot to this story , it's a must watch....this trailer is not enough frankly speaking...it's really really good...... A must watch movie for all !  :)  -Zinnia
